Porsche 911R Sportomatic
Marathon de la Route (84 hours of Nurburgring) 1967 Victory poster by Nicolas Hunziker.
1967 Porsche 911R – Marathon de la Route.
After 84 grueling hours on the Nurburgring Nordschleife, Vic Elford brought this blood orange 911R to victory in the aptly named Marathon de la Route race of 1967.
Together with his co-drivers, Jochen Neerpasch and Hans Herrmann, Vic Elford flogged the sportomatic equipped 911R for three and a half days around the Nordschleife track.
Since Vic was used to drive long nights in rallyes, he drove every night while Jochen Neerpasch and Hans Herrmann shared the car during the days!
Personally autographed by European Rally Champion Vic Elford and the Artist.
