Elford Ready to go! Le Mans 24 hours 1969 – Signed by Vic Elford

Vic Elford Le Mans 1969
Ready to go!

Vic was driving the first Porsche 917 (#12) teamed with DickAttwood.

The 917 had been nicknamed “the undriveable monster”, Richard hated it, Vic liked it…

They retired with a broken gearbox oil seal … after leading the race for 21 hours and having a lead of 50 miles …

… leaving a last lap shootout between Jacky Ickx (Ford GT 40) and Hans Herrmann (Porsche 908) for the victory taken by Jacky Ickx.

Signed by Vic Elford.
